GMI Technology Inc. today announced that they have won numerous DVR chipset design wins at European brand DVR player manufacturers. DVR chipsets provide the core processing power for home TV recording and storage solutions. Included among the design wins are Storex,Emtec,Woxter,and Freecom. All chipsets will be sourced from GMI Technology is strategic partner, Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
Commenting on the announcement, Dickson Chan, vice president of GMI Technology, said, “We are extremely pleased with the continued growth in our DVR chipset business.
